Stillness is the first volume in Silent Exchange, a new series of books drawn from Charlie Waite’s photographic archive.

Bringing together photographs made across many years and many places, Stillness explores those moments when the elements within the frame seem to settle into their own sense of balance — a stillness discovered through looking, composing and waiting.

Limited to 40 copies, the Special Edition includes a copy of Stillness signed by Charlie Waite, together with a signed and numbered photographic print of Chesil Beach, Dorset, UK.

The photograph is printed at a size of approximately 15 × 15 cm on 20 × 20 cm paper, and is produced as an edition of 40 exclusively in this format for the Special Edition of Stillness.

Each print is individually numbered 1/40–40/40 and signed by Charlie Waite.
