It was in the form of a postcard that I first came across this grouping of trees. I am grateful to the photographer who was generously un-territorial in providing their location.

I have since visited the ‘clump’ as I have chosen to call it perhaps 25 times and on not one occasion has it appeared the same. The thoughtful photographer had made his image with a deep blue sky allowing me to feel that I had not poached his work with my forbidding rain filled backdrop.
